APPSOL TECHNOLOGIES was founded primarily with an aim and intention of providing affordable and appropriate solutions to MSMEs enabling them to transform their business and emerge as a successful enterprise in the “Make in India” and “Made in India” Movement. I am a production engineer by profession and I have an in-depth knowledge and over 27 years of experience and expertise in managing Camshaft and Cranskhaft machine lines. I have worked as Senior Manager and General Manager at various multinationals such as Cummins India Ltd, Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, SKF India Ltd, Kirloskar Integrated Technologies Ltd, Bharat Forge Ltd and Fortuna Engineering Pvt Ltd.
• Managing Camshaft, Crankshaft machining Line and shop operations by driving the initiatives of production planning, manufacturing, process automation, new product development, cost rationalization, quality assurance and industrial relations with an ability to integrate multidisciplinary strengths to achieve growth and profitability objectives of the unit.
• Developing, providing and implementing end to end project management life cycle including requirement analysis, estimation and final execution of project, RFQ (request for quote), machine selection & process design, supplier identification, evaluation and Selection, process finalization, DAP, agreements, machines tooling up, run-off, Installation, commissioning, setup prove out, capacity and quality demonstration, and finally handing over to the production.
• Managing production schedules while holding production costs in check thereby bringing about significant reductions and deploying process improvement strategies
• Implementation of technology transfer and adaptation.
• Imparted Training on CNC Programming on Landis CNC cam grinder at Tata Cummins Ltd. Jamshedpur.
• Developed Camshaft for Force Motors Ltd.
• Designed layout and synchronized the material flow using lean Six Sigma methodology at Davi Engineering. (Supplier of John Deer Ltd.).
• Developed an in- house capability and capacity for D-New series engine camshaft at Greaves Cotton Limited, Pune.
• Designed and prepared training course material (ASDC training modules) for Quality Engineer Level-3 at Accurate Engineering and conducted Six -Sigma training sessions for Quality Engineers.
